Israel and Iran Conflict

A high-stakes conflict marked by proxy wars, nuclear tensions, and regional power struggles between Israel and Iran.

Israel and Iran Conflict:

The tension between Israel and Iran has been a long-standing geopolitical conflict rooted in political, ideological, and military disagreements. Israel views Iran as its most significant strategic threat, mainly due to Iran’s support for militant groups like Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza, as well as its nuclear ambitions. Iran, on the other hand, does not recognize Israel as a legitimate state and supports armed resistance against it.

Over the years, the conflict has played out through proxy wars, cyberattacks, airstrikes in Syria, and political standoffs. In recent times, tensions have escalated due to Iran's uranium enrichment programs and alleged Israeli sabotage of Iranian nuclear facilities.

Although there has not been a direct full-scale war, covert operations, military strikes, and regional power struggles have kept the threat of open war alive. The situation remains volatile, with global powers watching closely due to the risk of a wider Middle East conflict.
